By using mehran.co.uk or engaging Mehran Joya for services, you agree to these terms.
Services
I provide freelance AI engineering, data engineering, and software development services. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are agreed in writing (email or contract) before work begins.
Payments
- Invoices are issued as agreed per project or engagement
- Payment terms are net 14 days unless otherwise agreed
- Late payments may incur interest under the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, all custom work product created for you transfers to you. I retain the right to describe the engagement in general terms in my portfolio (without disclosing confidential details). Any third-party libraries or open-source components remain under their original licences.
Confidentiality
I treat all client information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Limitation of Liability
My liability for any claim arising from services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to that claim. I am not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Warranties
I warrant that services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. I do not guarantee specific business outcomes from AI systems, as results depend on data quality, implementation, and other factors outside my control.
Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. You may not use it for unlawful purposes or in ways that could damage, disable, or impair the site.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes
I may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
